The online donations through net banking or credit/debit cards should be used only for making donations to the Indraprstha Cancer Society & Research Centre (ICS&RC). In case you wish to make your contribution to ICS&RC for any other purpose e.g. Sponsorships, purchase of its products and services etc, please use the Cheque / Pay order / Demand draft.
All donations accepted through on line methods will be accounted for as the income of the Society and will be applied for the charitable purposes they are meant for. However, if the donor wishes to make a large donation to the Corpus of the Society, then he/she should only use the Cheque / Pay Order/ Demand Draft and state specifically in his covering letter that the donation is meant as contribution to the Corpus of ICS&RC. In the absence of such specific direction, the donation will be accounted for as income of ICS&RC by the Income Tax Dept
The facility of making on line donations is currently restricted to Indian nationals and Indian organisations, in Indian rupees only. In case the donor is a foreign national or a foreign owned or controlled organisation,then he should only use the Cheque / Pay Order / Demand Draft facility for making donations. It is, however advisable to use the direct bank remittance facility from outside India for this purpose. The necessary instructions in this regard can be obtained by sending an e mail to email@example.com.
Please note that the credit /debit cards issued outside India are currently not eligible to be used for online donations.
All donations will be accepted as donations meant for the various cancer & research related activities being undertaken by the Society (Purpose-General) unless the donor specifies the purpose for which the donation should be used.
All donations will be eligible for tax deduction benefits under Section 80 G and under Section 35 (i) (ii) of the Income Tax Act.
All donations made to RGCI&RC are exempted under section 80G of the Income Tax Act which means that 50% of your donation amount will be eligible for tax exemption. Please use RGCI&RC Exemption Receipt to claim the same while filing your Income Tax returns. As per the recent amendment in the Income Tax Act, the existing certificate of RGCI&RC is valid till it is surrendered or withdrawn.
All donations made to RGCI&RC are exempted under section 35(1) (ii) of the Income Tax Act which means that 175% of your donation amount will be eligible for tax exemption. Please use RGCI&RC Exemption Receipt to claim the same while filing your Income Tax returns. As per the recent amendment in the Income Tax Act, the existing certificate of RGCI&RC is valid till it is surrendered or withdrawn.
ICS&RC will be sending a receipt for the donation made, enclosing a copy of the certificate under Section 80 G / 35(I) (ii), to the address indicated on the registration form within 45 days of receiving the payment.

All donors making a donation of more than Rs 50000/- are, by law, required to give their PAN number on the registration form.
Please note that while ICS&RC makes no enquiries with regard to the source of funds for the donation, it is imperative for the donors that the applicable laws are followed in this regard.
