Dr. Abhishek Bansal completed his graduate medical education from one of the most prestigious medical schools of India, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and was awarded the Best All-rounder in all his professional years. Then, he did his Radiology residency from another prestigious institute of the country, the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, New Delhi with special trainings at Army R&R Hospital and Army Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. He did his Senior Residency from Army College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi followed by Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He was then selected for the Korean Society of Interventional Radiology Fellowship 2017 and underwent training at the Seoul National University Hospital, South Korea. He carries a rich experience in both vascular and non-vascular Interventional Radiological procedures with a special interest in Interventional Oncology that entails minimally invasive management of various tumours and problems associated with such tumours. He has undergone special trainings at Georgetown University Medical Centre, Washington DC and Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, USA. He has also done a Research Elective at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He has good research acumen and has been awarded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) as well. He features regularly in newspapers and news channels with health related information for public awareness. He has numerous publications to his credit and is a renowned faculty in Interventional Radiology and Oncology meetings. He has displayed his exemplary leadership and organizational abilities by organizing various seminars, CMEs, conferences throughout country.
