Dr. Ghanshyam Mandal is Consultant Head & Neck Oncosurgery at RGCI & RC. He is having an experience of 8 years. He has received Best Resident Award at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research centre in 2017. He is trained in inserting and handling chemoport devices and have performed more than 500 Commando surgeries, assisted in more than 800 Commando surgeries, more than 20 pituitary, other anterior and lateral skull base surgeries

Interested in learning and doing recent techniques and modern practices in the field of Head & Neck Oncology and Skull Base Surgery.

  • Trained in inserting and handling chemoport devices at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research centre

  • Well adept in Emergency tracheostomy, and other life saving procedures in Head & neck surgeries.
  • Have performed more than 20 pituitary, other anterior and lateral skull base surgeries

  • Expert in endoscopic feeding tube insertion.
  • Received 2nd prize for poster presentation on topic- Bone anchored hearing aid, at annual ENT conference held in Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt., New Delhi in August 2011.
