About

Dr. Manoj Gupta is European Board of Nuclear Medicine (FEBNM) Sweden and Asian Nuclear Medicine Board (FANMB) China certified specialist. He has the unique distinction of establishing the first PET CT in Sri Lanka. He did his MBBS from UCMS, Delhi (2000 batch) and Post-Graduation in Nuclear Medicine from renowned Institute in Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) Delhi. He also did his Ph.D. in Radiation Biology on ‘Role of Radio-Ligand in Theragnostics of Metastatic Castration Resistant Prostate cancer’. He had advanced training in clinical Nuclear Medicine and radionuclide therapy during his fellowship in RWTH, Aachen, Germany. He has presented his research work on PET-CT in oncology and radionuclides therapies in various national and international forums. He is a recipient of Asian Regional Cooperative Council of Nuclear Medicine (ARCCNM) young scientist grant awards continuously in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2016. He also received Merit Award, Selected poster presentation in ESMO Targeted Anticancer Therapies Congress (TAT) 2019, Paris, France, and Travel award in 5th Theranostic World Congress (TWC) 2019, Jeju Korea. He has published many research papers in both national and International peer reviewed journals. He is also a reviewer of many well know journals e.g. European Journal of Radiology, British Journal of case reports and Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging etc. He received the best publication award (P. S. Raman memorial award) of RGCIRC 2018. His keenness in the field of Nuclear Oncology has brought him to RGCIRC and he is working as Consultant since June 2013.
