A medical graduate from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi in 1986 with MBA in Hospital Management, post graduate Diplomas in Family Medicine, Health and Family welfare Management and Preventive and Promotive Health, A course in Palliative medicine. Total 30 years experience as a Family Medicine physician in various charitable as well as corporate hospitals and NGOs in Clinical and Community Health initiatives.

  • Subsequently , worked as Medical Officer and freelance consultant with  Apollo Occupational Health Centres in Delhi for three year for their Corporate Clinics and preventive camps .
  • Worked with Dharamshila Hospital as a Consultant , Preventive Oncology ,and Indian Cancer Society for their community initiatives, conducting  awareness lectures and screening camps on Cancer Prevention and Early Detection  in community settings like corporates, PSUs, various schools, colleges, Residential colonies.
  • Worked for Govt of India for their Reproductive Health Project, RMNCH+A Skills Labs Training of Trainers Programme, in collaboration with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine UK for state Healthcare professionals
  • Worked with Fortis Foundation as Chief Medical Officer for their Charitable clinics project , setting up, developing protocols, for all the clinics under the project and managing OPD clinic at Birla Mandir Delhi
  • Worked with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine UK for their Evaluation and Quality Assurance project for Skills Labs in 5 Districts of Madhya Pradesh
  • Worked with Humain Health, Delhi as Consultant, General Physician.
  • Voluntary work with various organization like Sri Aurobindo Ashram Delhi, Akshardham Temple Delhi and NGOs.
