Clinical Research Centre at RGCI&RC was established in 1997 and since then it has been striving to reach the highest level in the cancer clinical trial world. All the treatment Units, including Medical, Surgical, Radiation, Hemato and Pediatric  Hemato-Oncology are now actively participating in clinical trials to support the Vision of providing affordable Oncological Care of International Standard And help To Eliminate Cancer From India. In year 2019, the Institute has established a Central Clinical Trial Department to further strengthen its commitment and focus on clinical research.

In year 2019, the Institute has established a Central Clinical Trial Department to further strengthen its commitment and focus on clinical research.

From executing the first Phase 1 Oncology study in India, to participating in multiple clinical trials, RGCIRC has been the flag-bearer in the Country in testing and developing the newer cancer treatments, be it in chemotherapy, target drugs or immunotherapy.

It has also played a pivotal role in establishing many indigenous developed bio-similar molecules in India by participating in different efficacy and safety studies.

RGCIRC is now recognized as an important and preferred clinical trial site by many of the leading cancer treatment development agencies in the world, both from the academic world and pharmaceutical sector. The centre has participated in >300 national and international clinical trials for all types of cancer.

RGCIRC strength lies in the strong scientific and technical competence of its representatives, best in class infrastructure, work ethics and most importantly keeping patient in centre in all its decisions. It hopes to make a clinical trial option available to many more cancer patients and thus help to eliminate cancer from India in the coming years.
