Organ transplantation is not the best way to treat someone of cancer. Firstly, it is really hard to find the appropriate donors. Moreover, only primary cancer can be treated through organ transplantation, in which cancer is restricted to a specific organ. In case it has spread to other parts of the body, transplantation is not a good idea. Organ transplantation is followed by various immunosuppressant drugs to be taken by the recipients in order to prevent organ rejection. This further adds up to the weakness, as a cancer patient needs a strong immune system to help fight against it.
