My dad was operated for his urinary bladder cancer by Sudhir Rawal (Head of Surgical Oncology), Amitabh Singh and their team (Genito-Urinary Oncology) on 9th October 2019. Despite having my dad’s full medical history and being aware of his compromised liver condition, they ignored it and had no back-up/contingency plans in case things would go wrong due to his severe liver condition. Doctors did not communicate the associated risks to either the patient or his family – there was ZERO communication from doctor’s side. There were multiple complications post surgery, mainly associated with my dad’d liver condition. His liver decompensated, he picked up hospital-borne infections and towards the end he succumbed to multiple organ failures and infection and passed away on 2nd November 2019. Surgeons and the ICU team could not control any of these problems after surgery, which resulted in my dad’s untimely death. Doctors’ approach was to just do the surgery and rest was left to the patient’s fate, which of course was not good in the hands of these medical butchers. Their wards are not well maintained, staff poorly trained and their ICU is like fish-market where they allow visitors without face masks and shoe covers – no wonder patients pick up severe, untreatable infections. This is India’s second largest, privately run cancer hospital but if you experience their services, standards and plannings, it will only bring anger, disgust and shame. Their only modern services are their billing services where they extort you for enormous amount of money; rest of their services are still very primitive and put shame to the modern medical and scientific world. SAVE YOUR LOVED AND DEAR ONES FROM THIS DISGUSTING HOSPITAL.
