Cancer has emerged as a formidable second largest killer in the world. Cancer surgeries are on the rise. Sepsis is one of the major causes of morbidity -mortality in cancer patients. Early diagnosis and appropriate interventions can change the course to favourable outcomes. Upgradation of knowledge and skills in management of sepsis is a felt need of all those involved in cancer care: Intensivists, Oncologists, Onco Surgeons.

We are pleased to inform you that department of Onco Surgical Critical Care and Anesthesiology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, Delhi is organizing Comprehensive Onco Anaesthesia Training (COAT) program on Saturday, 9th May 2026. This ‘COAT’ will ‘cover’ your existing knowledge of intensive care with an additional ‘layer’ of knowledge in sepsis management in cancer patients and thereby improve clinical acumen.
Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, Delhi is a premier tertiary care oncology setup in a unique position to host an update providing an overview of onco-critical care with specific emphasis on sepsis.
The theme of the current Update is SEP-ONCO SUMMIT: Recognizing Sepsis In Oncology.
