Cancer has emerged as a formidable second largest killer in the world. Cancer surgeries are on the rise. Cancer has emerged as a formidable second largest killer in the world. Sepsis is one of the major causes of morbidity -mortality in cancer patients. Early diagnosis and appropriate interventions can change the course to favourable outcomes. Upgradation of knowledge and skills in management of sepsis is a felt need of all those involved in cancer care:  Intensivists, Oncologists, Onco Surgeons.

The theme for the conference is “ SEP-ONCO SUMMIT: Recognizing Sepsis In Oncology”.

We are pleased to inform you that department of Onco Surgical Critical Care and Anaesthesia at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Delhi is organizing Comprehensive Onco Anaesthesia Training (COAT) program on Saturday, 9^th May 2026. This ‘COAT’ will ‘cover’ your existing knowledge of intensive care with additional ‘layer’ of knowledge in sepsis management in cancer patients and thereby improve clinical acumen.

Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Delhi is a premier tertiary care oncology setup in a unique position to host an update providing an overview of onco-critical care with specific emphasis on sepsis.

The theme of the current Update is “ SEP-ONCO SUMMIT: Recognizing Sepsis In Oncology”

RGCIRCCOAT 2026 will be an academic feast with interesting and intriguing sessions by distinguished experts. It will focus on clinical topics with practical implications for students, resident’s fellows and consultants interested in onco critical. The scientific program shall be a mix of plenary sessions and panel discussions as a consensus building exercise in challenging clinical scenarios with practice changing experiences. It shall ‘coat ‘ you with the recent advances in the field.
