In this story, RGCIRC (Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre) organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Karnal. From learning the importance of timely diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and breast-saving surgeries to exploring the FAQs on childhood cancer, Dr. K.M.M. Vishvak Chanthar, Chief of Breast Surgical Oncology at RGCIRC, and Dr. Sandeep Jain, Sr. Consultant – Pediatric Hematology Oncology and BMT at RGCIRC, respectively, aimed at educating the healthcare professionals about the rising burden of cancer in the country.
