Indu Devi – Cervical Cancer Treatment Journey

Indu Devi is a woman from a middle-class family, where her husband works as a labourer to support the household. For almost a year, Indu Devi struggled with a severe medical condition, experiencing significant vaginal bleeding. Despite seeking help from multiple hospitals in Delhi, she didn’t find any relief. After further consultation, she was advised to undergo a PET CT scan, which revealed the presence of cancer.

Living nearby, Indu Devi learned about RGCIRC and decided to visit for further examination. After thorough tests, it was confirmed that she had cervical cancer. She began her treatment under Dr. Anjali’s Pahuja care.

Unfortunately, this situation led to both emotional and financial difficulties for her family. As Indu Devi was not willing to pay the cost of treatment, the doctor suggested she seek help from patient welfare department to better navigate her challenges.

Fortunately, Indu Devi received a grant from FOREVER NEW. This financial support has enabled her to continue her treatment, and she is now undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy, Indu Devi is doing well and is happy with her progress.
