Dr. Anubha Dhawan is an accomplished healthcare leader with over 21 years of experience in healthcare operations, hospital administration, quality management, and patient experience enhancement. As the Head of Operations at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC), she plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across one of Asia’s premier comprehensive cancer care institutions, renowned for its advanced technology, multidisciplinary care model, and commitment to quality and innovation. RGCIRC is a leading not-for-profit oncology centre that has transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of cancer patients through world-class clinical care, research, education, and community outreach initiatives.
With a strong blend of clinical expertise and management acumen, Dr Anubha holds a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy, an MBA in Healthcare Management, and has successfully completed an Executive Education Programme from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad).
Over the course of her career, she has led several strategic initiatives focused on operational transformation, process optimization, patient-centric service delivery, capacity enhancement, quality improvement, and workforce effectiveness. Her expertise spans hospital operations, performance management, patient flow optimization, service excellence, accreditation readiness, and healthcare process redesign.
At RGCIRC, she works closely with multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams to strengthen operational governance, improve patient access and experience, optimize resource utilization, and support the Institute’s mission of delivering affordable oncology care of international standards. Her leadership approach combines collaborative teamwork, data-driven decision-making, a deeply humanistic perspective, and a continuous improvement mindset to achieve sustainable organizational outcomes.
