DAYCARE SERVICES
Overview
The Daycare at RGCIRC has a total of 70 beds, including 10 beds at the special Daycare located on the 6th floor of D Block. It is easily accessible through lifts as well as stairs. Located adjacent to OPD area makes it easy for the patients to consult the treating unit first and then move on to Daycare for getting procedure done.
Daycare admission, discharge, initial assessment, counseling, billing and pharmacy indenting is done in Daycare itself making it convenient for the patients.
There are two spacious waiting areas in daycare with adequate seating arrangements and TVs for entertainment.
Cytotoxic Admixture Unit is located on the same floor.
Our Daycare unit is 100% paper less.
All Daycare patients are provided diet from the hospital kitchen. Number of diet services depend upon the duration of the procedure that a patient is undergoing in daycare on a given day. Diet is modified as per the patient’s clinical condition.
Kindly note:
- Daycare treatment advice is given by the treating unit, so a patient needs to consult the treating unit first before coming to daycare.
- On the day of daycare procedure patient needs to show his/ her latest blood investigation reports in OPD.
- TPA cases need to get a TPA approval for daycare procedure. Kindly contact out TPA desk before starting Daycare procedure.
- Daycare Timing is 8:00 am to 8:00pm. Please ensure you procedure doesn’t go beyond the scheduled time.
- Daycare is open for all six weekdays. It remains closed on Sundays and on gazetted Holidays.
