About

Dr. Amitabh Singh is a dedicated Uro-Oncologist with extensive expertise in advanced minimally invasive and robotic urological cancer surgeries. With a career spanning over 2,000 robotic procedures, he specializes in the comprehensive management of uro-oncological conditions, including Robotic Radical Prostatectomy, Radical Cystectomy with ileal conduit and orthotopic neobladder reconstruction, Partial and Radical Nephrectomy, Nephroureterectomy, RPLND, Inguinal Block Dissection, and Anterior Exenteration.

He is particularly skilled in performing complex techniques such as Retzius-sparing and Hood approaches in prostatectomy to enhance post-operative recovery and continence outcomes. Dr. Singh is also proficient in fully intracorporeal robotic cystectomy with urinary diversion, significantly reducing patient morbidity. Beyond robotic surgery, he has a strong foundation in open and laparoscopic techniques and has a keen clinical interest in focal therapy for prostate cancer, including High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU), as well as MRI-Ultrasound Fusion Prostate Biopsies using both transperineal and transrectal approaches. His commitment to surgical innovation and education is reflected in his numerous live surgical demonstrations at national and international forums, including a pioneering telesurgery using an indigenous Indian robotic system.
