About

After completing post-graduation in pediatrics from Northern Railways Central Hospital, Dr. Payal Malhotra joined Sir Gangaram Hospital in the department of Hematology Oncology and BMT and worked as a Senior Resident. Thereafter, she joined as a clinical fellow through the National Board of Examinations at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre and successfully completed a 2-year training.

Thereafter, she did a short stint at Dana Farber Cancer Institute -Boston, USA, through the GLOBE scholarship. She has also done infectious disease training and biomedical research training from St Jude training programs. She is presently selected for the prestigious St Jude Pediatric Neuro Oncology 2-year fellowship program.

Her primary area of interest is hematological & non-hematological malignancies in children and adolescents, including bone marrow transplants for various benign and malignant indications.

She is a teaching faculty member for the fellowship program of Pediatric Hematology Oncology accredited by the National Board of Examinations.
