About

Dr. Shashi Rakheja is Senior Consultant in Preventive Oncology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre with over 30 years of experience in clinical, surgical and preventive oncology. She has extensive expertise in cervical cancer screening, high-risk HPV surveillance, colposcopy, management of cervical dysplasia and gynaecologic oncology.

She has received specialized training in diagnostic and operative colposcopy, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, gynaecological ultrasound, fetal medicine and aesthetic gynaecology. She has expertise in procedures including cervical biopsies, LETZ/LEEP, cervical conization, cryotherapy and management of pre-invasive vulvar and vaginal lesions.

Dr. Shashi has also been actively involved in community cancer awareness and early detection initiatives, including cancer screening camps, Pap smear screening drives and adolescent health education programmes. She has presented medical papers at national and international conferences.
