About

Dr. Vineet Talwar is the Medical Director of Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC) and has been associated with the institute since May 2000. He previously served as the Director, Department of Medical Oncology, contributing significantly to the advancement of cancer care and medical oncology.

He completed his DM in Medical Oncology from the prestigious Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai, in March 2000. He has over 140 publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals and is a member of leading professional organisations, including ESMO, ASCO, ICON, and ISO.

Dr. Talwar has received several honours, including three prestigious orations from The Association of Physicians of India, Indian Academy of Clinical Medicine, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, as well as the ‘Chikitsa Ratan Award’ from the Delhi State Medical Association. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP) and Fellow of the International Medical Sciences Academy (FIMSA).
