International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every may 12, – the anniversary of Florence Nightingales birth. This year the theme for Nurses week is “Nurses: A voice to lead – Nursing the world to Health”. WHO has declared 2020 as “Year of the Nurse and Midwife” in honor of the 200th Birth Anniversary of Florence Nightingale. The Nursing Department of Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Center celebrated Nurses Week from 11th May 2020 to 16th May 2020.
