The expert urged women and healthcare providers to stay vigilant about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer—one of the most lethal malignancies affecting women worldwide. She shared in about 90 per cent of cases, ovarian cancer occurs sporadically. Only 5–10 per cent have a hereditary component, often linked to BRCA1, BRCA2, or Lynch syndrome mutations.
