Many cancers—such as cervical, breast, and oral—can be prevented through vaccination, lifestyle changes, and routine screenings. Tobacco use remains a major contributor to cancer in India, making cessation programs vital. Vaccination against HPV and hepatitis B, along with improved access to screening, can significantly reduce mortality. Healthy lifestyle choices, coupled with stronger healthcare infrastructure, are essential strategies in the fight against cancer.
