RGCIRC recently hosted a special conference titled “Jeev Sharad: Shatam – Wishing Young Cancer Warriors: Health, Happiness, and Hope” at its Rohini center to highlight pediatric cancer survivorship and holistic rehabilitation. Organized jointly by the Department of Philanthropic & Patient Welfare Services and the Department of Pediatric Hematology Oncology & BMT, the event focused on the transition from medical survival to long-term quality of life through psychological support, social reintegration, and structured follow-up care. Key leadership addresses were delivered by Mr. D. S. Negi (CEO, RGCIRC), Dr. D. S. Gangwar (Interim CEO), and Mr. Ashok Aggarwal (Chairman), who emphasized the institute’s commitment to a multidisciplinary approach encompassing physical, emotional, and social recovery dimensions.
