RGCIRC Hosts NURSICON 2026

NURSICON 2026, organised by Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC) on September 18–19, 2026, was featured across leading media platforms including The Statesman, The Business Guardian, Navodaya Times, Amar Ujala, VOH, Drug Today and Perfect News, highlighting the expanding role of oncology nurses beyond treatment. The coverage highlighted discussions around patient safety, supportive and palliative care, rehabilitation, survivorship, emotional resilience, ethical issues and the importance of multidisciplinary cancer care, with Col. Madhumita Dhall, Director Nursing, RGCIRC, emphasising that oncology nursing requires both strong clinical skills and emotional strength to support patients through some of the most challenging phases of their lives.
