RGCIRC held a CME program in Meerut with the Obstetrics & Gynaecological Society to tackle the increasing burden of breast cancer in India, where it’s the most common cancer among women (28.2%). Emphasis was placed on early diagnosis and advancements like immunotherapy and targeted therapies, which have improved survival rates, even in advanced cases. Dr. Kapil Goyal highlighted the importance of genetic testing for those with a family history of breast cancer.
