She emphasizes that cancer is a complex disease driven by a combination of genetics, environment, and lifestyle, and warns against the dangerous myth that extreme starvation or “detox” diets can kill cancer cells. Instead, a protective approach involves a balanced diet of whole grains and lean proteins combined with regular exercise, avoiding tobacco, and routine medical screenings.
