Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC) in Delhi has opened an International Patients’ Lounge to cater to the growing number of foreign patients seeking cancer treatment. The lounge provides a seamless experience from admission to discharge, reducing the hassle for patients and their attendants. “The lounge has been designed to work on a single window concept. Typically 7-10 percent of our patients are from abroad at any point of time, majority from neighbouring countries including Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan,” said RGCIRC CEO DS Negi, IAS.
