The Pioneer: RGCIRC intensifies efforts to reduce cancer burden in Kanpur, emphasizes early detection and prevention

On July 27, 2024, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC) in Kanpur, in partnership with the Indian Medical Association, held a Continuing Medical Education (CME) event. Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Senior Consultant and Chief of Breast Services at RGCIRC, highlighted the critical benefits of early breast cancer detection. Dr. Narendra Agarwal, Senior Consultant in Hemato-Oncology, emphasized the need for timely treatment of pancytopenia. The CME also included updates on CAR T-cell therapy.
