In a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on oncology organised by Delhi based Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute (RGCI), India’s leading cancer care centre in association with Nayyar Hospital, Amritsar, two cancer experts informed the participants about new drugs and treatment methodologies for treating cancer that have led to far better outcomes. Dr. Narendra Agrawal, Unit Head & Sr. Consultant – Hemato Oncology, Leukemia & BMT at RGCI spoke about new therapies to treat Multiple Myeloma, a kind of blood cancer and Dr. Vaishali Zamre, Sr. Consultant & Chief of Breast Surgical Oncology at RGCI informed the audience about oncoplastic breast surgeries for breast conservation.
