He discussed the future of cancer detection and treatment, emphasizing groundbreaking advancements in early diagnosis. Dr. Rawal highlighted ongoing trials in India involving cutting-edge gene sequencing technology, where a simple 2 ml blood sample can detect cancer even before symptoms appear. This innovative approach, combined with follow-up PET scans, has successfully identified asymptomatic cancer patients, paving the way for early intervention.
