Monu Jaiswal- Ca Gall Bladder Treatment Journey

Monu Jaiswal, only 31, is the heartbeat of his home, the sole provider, a devoted husband, and a loving father to his little children. His life revolved around their happiness until everything changed. What began as constant tiredness and a stubborn stomachache slowly grew into something far more frightening. Day by day, Monu struggled to keep up with even the simplest tasks, and the fear in his family’s eyes deepened with every passing moment. 

When tests finally revealed the truth, it felt as though the ground had slipped from beneath them: Gallbladder Cancer (Ca Gall Bladder). The news shattered the young family. Doctors at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC) recommended immediate surgery, but the estimated cost of ₹5 lakh was far beyond their means. As the only earning member, Monu’s inability to afford treatment threatened not just his life, but the entire future of his wife and children. The thought of his kids growing up without their father haunted him every single day. 

In this moment of despair, a ray of light emerged. Seeing the urgency and the emotional toll on the family, RGCIRC’s Patient Welfare Department intervened with compassion. They took up Monu’s case and reached out for support. In an extraordinary act of generosity, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) sanctioned a ₹3-lakh grant, lifting the burden that had been crushing the family. This support didn’t just cover treatment, it gave them hope, strength, and the courage to believe in tomorrow again. 

Today, Monu is healing. His surgery was successful, and he is slowly regaining the strength he feared he had lost forever. His children once again see their father smiling, and his wife finally sleeps without tears. For the Jaiswal family, BPCL’s kindness was nothing short of a blessing. Their timely help saved Monu’s life and safeguarded the dreams and stability of an entire family, giving them back the future they thought they had lost.
